Old LZ88 reconstructed, renamed L 25 and recommissioned 19 January 1917. Broken up at Potsdam, Germany 15 September 1917.
14 reconnaissance missions; 3 attacks dropping 4,249 kg (9,367 lb) of bombs along the Western Front. It flew missions during the early phase of the Battle of Verdun in support of the German army and missions over the Nordsee and England. It had registration LZ88. In January 1917 it was handed to the German Navy who used it for experimental purposes. It received a new registration L25.
Decommissioned in September 1917.
